• All went well until I tried exporting it as a VST3 file. The process worked fine however when I try to open it in FL Studio 20, although it sees the plugin it reports an 'Error' but there is no information as to the nature of it. Fortunately I still have the previous version FL studio 12 installed on my PC and it works fine in that.
• Plugin GUI's are not scaling correctly in FL Studio. Later versions of FL Studio, 12 and higher, feature a vector based Graphic User Interface (GUI) that automatically adapts to your screen resolution as set under 'Windows Control Panel All Control Panel Items Display'. Plugins are hosted inside FL Studio and may show up very large, while.
• It depends on the error, but keep in mind that FL Studio is the only DAW that uses a variable buffer size and this may cause issues in some plugins. There is an option in the FL plugin wrapper window to force a fixed buffer size and it solves most.

• I’m trying to use FL Studio 12 (32bit) with CTRLR but whatever I do I get

  “Something went wrong loading the VST plugin Ctrlr. Please make sure it’s installed and registered properly.”

  Now, I’m sure it’s probably something to with Fruity but I’ve exhausted all my options…

  Have tried;
  64 bit version
  Renaming .dll
  Reinstalling
  Downgrading to previous version
  Rescanning all VST’s around 5 times, with and without verification

  The standalone works perfectly. I’ve also tried using shell2vst but it says it’s not a valid VST? Could this be a Windows 10 issue, I would assume not if the standalone works.

  Any ideas, I’m stuck!

  It got to be a fruityloops issue. It is working on my Win10 with reaper (both 32 and 64 bit plugins). Why not try the x64 version of fruityloops?

Here's ImageLine's Edison, originally and imported from FL Studio to the outside world of VST technology. With its standalone mode, you could make it work like SliceX. But it has automatic slicing using pitch detection, great-sounding time and pitch shifting and even blurring the transients of your audio.
